Dear GG Rebels,
Happy New Year! I hope your holidays were filled with family, friends and lots of down time!
WOW, 2017 sure flew by. A new year always brings time for reflection, and one thing I’ve learned this year is to celebrate our successes- big and small. Since all of you were part of our special year, I’d like to share some of our biggest accomplishments:
-First and foremost, 2017 was GG Maull’s first full year In business! We learned and grew exponentially.
-Being sold at 25 different stores across the U.S., including Bloomingdales, Intermix, CURVE, Ron Robinson, Edit by LBP, SoSusu, Stanley Korshak, Shoe Stories, Reservoir, Boyds, Per Lei, Carousel, Mi Place, Meadow, Brandshop, Valley and Walin and Wolf.
-We hosted 26 trunk shows! Most memorably, Bloomingdale’s 59th Street where on our first day we outsold the entire first floor.
-I was accepted into Goldman Sachs 10k Small Business program, an organization sponsored by the Tory Burch Foundation that supports and educates female CEOs on how to grow our business.
-Secured an additional factory in NYC, and launched our personalization program together.
-Sold out select styles in ONE day.
-Features in Refinery 29, The Daily Front Row, Essence, Domino, Jezebel, PAPER, and Philadelphia Style (just to name a few).
-Became a celebrity favorite of Charlize Theron, Kristen Bell, Allison Brie, Yara Shahidi, Sarah Michelle Geller, Adelaide Kane, Veronica Webb and more!
While our specialty is to design rebelliously sophisticated multi-functional products, I have still been asking myself, how can we create something more than a handbag?! For 2018, with every GG Maull purchase will come with an invitation to our next Rebel Session.
What is a Rebel Session? Our vision is to create a growing community of women who love, support and encourage each other to take risks and dream big. Taking risks is the best way I have found to build confidence. As I embark on the biggest risk I have ever taken, it would mean the world to have all of you on this journey with me.
